When you submit an enquiry through this website we collect your name, telephone number, email address, the postcode of the premises, the type of work required and any details you choose to add in the message field.

When you instruct us to carry out work we also hold the site address, correspondence relating to the job, details of the works and certification issued, and records needed for invoicing and payment.

This website does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you for card details through the site.

To respond to your enquiry and prepare a free, no-obligation quote.

To arrange attendance, carry out the works and issue certification and reports.

To keep records of the work we have carried out, including certification and next-due dates, so we can evidence what was tested and when.

To raise invoices and take payment by BACS or card, and to keep the accounting records we are required to keep.

To contact you about the job in hand. We do not sell your information to anyone.

We rely on the performance of a contract where we are quoting for or carrying out work for you; on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and keeping accurate job records; and on legal obligation where records must be retained for tax, safety or certification purposes.

We share information only where it is necessary: with our engineers and staff working on your job, with the certification and accreditation bodies we are registered with where a scheme requires notification of work, with our accountants and payment providers, and where we are legally required to disclose it.

Where an enquiry submitted through this website is routed into our customer relationship management system, that provider processes the data on our instructions only.

Enquiries that do not proceed to work are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any follow-up. Records relating to completed works, certification and invoicing are retained for as long as we may need them to evidence the work carried out and to satisfy our legal and accounting obligations.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, to ask us to delete it where we no longer need it, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
